Spain’s Commission nominee Teresa Ribera says grids key to European project

Spanish minister and Europe’s likely next Climate Commissioner, Teresa Ribera, speaking at the annual conference of the influential Brussels-based think tank, Bruegel, said that building more interconnectors is a “great excuse to build more Europe, to get the different players to think beyond national interest and build a common project around this,” on Wednesday (4 September).
